Our carbon footprint report is here

We always strive to minimise our environmental impact. To gain greater control over and a better understanding of our environmental impact, we have produced a carbon footprint report for 2024.

– For us, our environmental impact is not just about ourselves, but about how we can contribute to our customers’ sustainability efforts. With many large companies among our customers, it is important to be able to support their work and ensure that we are a climate-conscious partner, says Ulrika Bragg, CEO of FörsäkringsGirot.

This year’s carbon footprint report shows a carbon footprint per employee of 0,31 tonnes CO2e using the market-based method and 0,32 tonnes CO2e using the location-based method. As a small company, FörsäkringsGirot has a low climate impact, which, together with conscious choices to travel in climate-friendly ways, contributes to the low carbon footprint per employee.

– For us, making conscious and sustainable choices in our operations is a given. Measuring and monitoring our results through a carbon footprint report allows us to work in a more focused and targeted way to minimise our environmental impact, comments Ulrika Bragg, CEO of FörsäkringsGirot, and continues;

– As we have no previous results to compare against, this is a good starting point for our ongoing efforts. We can see that we are already doing a good job and that we are on the right track in contributing to a lower environmental impact.

The carbon footprint report follows the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP) standard, a framework for how an organisation calculates and reports its greenhouse gas emissions.
